Stretching

Stretching & Flexibility

Stretching is highly important to do on a regular basis – especially when we get older as we lose our flexibility and our muscles lose strength.

I am not an expert on this by any means, but felt it was necessary to add some information, tips and options both in pictures and video.

Here are some links that have good information and pictures to follow or try. Not everybody will be able to do them – listen to your body. Start doing the ones you can do and work up to the ones that are a bit more difficult or modify them as it works for you.

The important thing is that you try to do a little bit every day consistently – that will get results and you will feel better – mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically – moving always makes you feel better.

Don’t push yourself – be gentle on yourself – make a point of moving today and every day! You will be glad you did!

Do them individually, as couples, with friends or start a group to encourage, help and support one another!

Have some fun with it!

Here are just a few suggestions or ideas – there are many options online – have a look and find one that works for you that you enjoy.

If you enjoy doing it, you will be more motivated to be consistent!
